Your monthly self-compassion immersion.

Held on the 3rd Sunday of (almost) every month

This monthly meet is a place for people to come and rest their bodies and minds, meet themselves where they are and bask in kindness and compassion. Soulful Sundays is a place where you are free to unravel and find yourself again.

Feel seen, heard and held as Vivienne shares parts of her self-compassion journey with you, forming the focus for the session. Then deepen your own self-compassion practice through meditation, loving-kindness mantra, sound healing and contemplative journalling.

You’ll be feeling all the feels after the Compassionate Connection Circle (unique to A Mindful Mind’s Soulful Sundays). For extra nourishment, stay for tea and chats.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early, we begin on time and late arrivals are not permitted out of respect to other group members.

We will always have outside noise whether with issues we are dealing with or thoughts, etc with life in general. It is how we choose to respond or deal with it is the key difference here. I was able to tune into my breath and focus on your guidance which was great. To be in my own space eating mindfully without having any distractions and just really being in the present moment as much as I can with what I had in front of me. Held every 3 months (in place of Soulful Sundays)

I know first hand what it feels like to be going through the motions, week in week out, crawling to the finish line that is the weekend or your next holiday. Heck, I spent 2023 feeling a lot like this! But it doesn’t have to be that way.

This mixed-modality style of silent retreat is designed intentionally to bring you back to what matters most: YOU.

Only by applying our own oxygen mask first are we then able to support others and a silent retreat is one of the best ways to practise this. Aside from my guidance, the group holds a companionable silence in which each individual is afforded the chance to go within and connect with self, without interruption. 

New meditators need not fear, there is a mix of mindful movement and journaling along with sound and guided meditation, so that the unique needs of each participant to recalibrate is honoured.

If you are ready to feel rejuvenated without needing to leave the city or carve out a few days to do so, then an Urban Half-Day Silent Retreat is for you.
